每周上班5天 9:30-18:00 ，周休二日另有寒暑假期。

*學校護理人員工作如下：
包含健康中心行政事務、校園健康評估、身體評估、健康中心資料管理、個案管理及追蹤矯治、緊急傷病處理、傳染病防治、健康輔導、環境評估及主管交辦之其他業務等十大項學校護理工作內容。

We are seeking a qualified and experienced School Nurse to join our dynamic learning community. The School nurse will deliver both universal and targeted services and work across education and health, providing a link between school, home and the community and play an essential role in keeping children healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

- The regular working shift will be 9:30-18:00 and the flexibility will be required to meet operational needs.  

- Expected start date: 1 February, 2021.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nursing processing duties

• Implements and promotes nursing care according to established priority of needs and according to standards of nursing practice.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the campus and the nursing services. 
• Maintain accurate, up to date health management records of students and put in practice and ensure all medical information concerning students is maintained in the strictest confidence.
• Conduct health management programmes, including arrange health exams, screening, vaccinations, providing hospital or doctor referrals, illness follow up and consultation  services as appropriate.
• Develops procedures and provides for crisis intervention for acute illness, injury and
• emotional disturbances and the prevention and control of infectious diseases, including disease notification, vaccination, and registration tracking. 
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and appropriately and provide emergency rescue, care, contact and monitoring of accident injuries.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the provision of health care is collaborative and coordinated.
• Coordinating health services with private and public health providers, parents, agencies to promote a healthy environment for students. 
• Liaising with health care institutions, parents and locals to promote health promotion. 
• Keeping up to date with the school’s emergency drill procedures and responding appropriately in an emergency or emergency drill.
• Assessing the school environment to prevent injury and ensure safety.
• Providing health-related education to students in both individual and group settings.
• Work with the school’s Emergency Response Team to ensure our procedures are effective in emergency situations.

Qualifications

 

Criteria	Qualities
Qualifications and experience	Essential Current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse.  Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred  Minimum 2 years of nurse working experience. Desirable Previous clinical nurse management experience Evidence of multi-cultural experience and cultural competency Current First Aid qualification and/or Sports medicine qualification School nurse experience working in primary or secondary/high school
Skills and Knowledge	Essential Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to people across the School community. Computer literate, excellent record keeping and good organisational skills are vital to this role. Ability to foster good public relations with students, teachers, parents and visitors.  Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with treating health professionals and staff. Balanced, tolerant and sensitive approach to others The ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and appropriately. Desirable A working knowledge of safeguarding in schools.
Personal professional conduct	Capable to organize and maintain good relationships with others. A commitment to helping the department delivery the highest quality of practicals possible for students. Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours to develop the team and sustain effective relationships with the team and the school community. Have proper and professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school. Respect individual differences and cultural diversity.
